The four architecturally designed cottages and two country house retreats are totally self-contained and set in our stunning three acres of water gardens, with cascading waterfall, rainbow trout ponds and tree ferns.

Monreale Estate is surrounded by a rain forest with commanding Mountain Ash, and National Parks and gardens giving the effect of an enchanted forest getaway immersed in the splendour of nature and its magnificent colourful seasons.

Directions: Allow one and a half hours from Melbourne, and one hour from the eastern suburbs. Sassafras is in the Dandenong Ranges, 2??km from the intersection of the Mt Dandenong Tourist Rd and The Crescent. Our sign, will direct the left driveway for cottages and the right driveway for our retreats. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
